The Akron Executives Association is a networking organization founded in 1963 to promote the exchange of business information, encourage cooperation among members, and strive to keep local business with local companies. The Association operates for the individual benefit of its members and not for profit as an organization. It is an association with a purpose that of helping to increase the sale of goods and services of its members through an exchange of business and an exchange of business leads. It is a member of IEA (International Executives Association), an international association with 42 other Executive Associations throughout the US and Canada. Classifications are protected and competition between members is minimal, only one member firm per business classification is permitted.
